What Does It Do?

Our ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Systems) are mainly used to control 'overstays' in retail parks. Controlled from our centralised data processing offices in Leeds we can offer a nationwide service at economical rates. Data on overstays is collected minute by minute. Automatically generated lists are sent to the DVLA to obtain the keeper details. We can then write to them with an invoice for the agreed 'overstay' parking charge (normally £100 reduced to £60 for early payment. UKCPS will manage the complete process from initial site planning to data collection and invoice issuing. We are able to create exception lists for employees, delivery vehicles etc for each site.

ANPR technology can also be used to control access to secure sites and we offer a full security guarding service based on ANPR camera controls. These highly sophisticated cameras have an over 99.5% accuracy rate and any missmatch number plates are marked for manual checking against the overview cctv cameras which are part of the system.
